My awesome Holidays!

I've been long gone from my blog hmm... my last post was last year. I've been extremely busy with my work, my dog, plannings for our coming big ROM and of coz' endless holidays one after another. 

I've been having so much fun with my holidays. From Christmas last year till the Happy Chap Goh Meh which marks the end of CNY and my holidays. The thoughts of going back to work (T_T) sienz-ness! 

Alright let's leave the boring for tomorrow. Back to my holidays. The holiday mood started from Frankie's wedding dinner, I am glad that he finally... officially settled down with his pretty wifey and his cute mini Ang. 


Then followed by Christmas which we went back to Pg for celebration. It was a fun hoo-haa Christmas Eve and we did our countdown at Straits Quay Healy Macs with my parents and their friends. Darling even gave me a surprise gift. He went to the loo and then came back with a gift. How sweet of him!

It was exhausting traveled back to Penang twice in a month. Then we came back to KL before heading back to Malacca for New Year Celebration. Yeah finally it's 2012. 


23days later we welcome the Chinese New Year... officially the Water Dragon Year. Hmm... it's gonna be a very good year for both of us especially 12.12.12 =D can't wait for it! This year I didn't go to Malacca so I get a hamper for his family. Chor 3 which is the 3rd day of CNY he came up to Penang with another hamper for my family. It's kind of a tradition that we still follow even though we're like ang-mo sai kind of people. Still it's good to keep the tradition alive. Oh the 2 hampers cost a bomb hmm... there's Ginseng (real ones), Ginseng tea, bird nest, red wine, abalone, some Chinese herbs don't know what... etc... I'm sure you can roughly guess the price... it's either RM 168, 188, 288, 388... till 8888. Why 8 hmm Chinese got "a thing" with that number it means HUAT AHHH (number 8 brings luck, wealth & prosperity)! I took quite a long holiday this year since I've hit my target and my boss was happy (hmm now ex since he left few days ago) so he kinda let me go for a longer holiday. So what did I do during the CNY holidays. Well, you name it I've done it. Had new year cookies... steamboat... mandarin oranges, replenish my sleep tones of it, mahjong after mahjong, poker cards, shopping, movies, erm... parties beer... alcohol, food oh I think I mentioned that before. Yeah practically everything... 


Like usual I get my hair cut change my hair style every new year by Connie. Apparently she did a great job hmm... since I've got many compliments from my clients, my colleagues and my friends when I started work on the 30th Jan. I guess the new hair style looks good on me.

A week later, we have another long weekend. The holiday mood started right after I settled my target for Jan. Yes I did it again! I can hear the sound ka-ching $$$! Can't wait to see the amount in my bank LOL! Darling and I head to Pasta Mania to enjoy our most wonderful dinner ever on last Thursday night. It's such a big relieve for me to hit my consistency incentives. On Friday after lunch, we had mahjong session at my house with Jo then poker cards when Jeremy, Su, Eric, Alvin, Micheal came later. The session lasted till 5am in the morning. Omgawd I was so sleepy but it was an awesome night with the guys. Did I won? Hmm... I call it even. Since he won on mahjong I lost then I won on poker cards he lost haha! After that night we slept through our Saturday to replenish our energy for our next trip. On I did the egg standing thingy too. You know it's the Spring Equinox where the night & day is equal and you can make the egg stand easily. Check out mine.

Sunday we decided drive ourselves to Genting. On our way, we passed by Batu Caves and Thaipusam is just around the corner it was a mad-sive jam! However, it's worth the journey up there. We went for the Doraemon World 2012. It's fun and it was a great holiday. Darling and I just so random we decided to stay on that night and it was like 12am then we head to the counter to get us a room. Luck was definitely on our side. There's still a Deluxe Room for us. So we check-in and enjoy the night over at Genting. It was nice just the 2 of us spending quality time together. I really had a great time at Uncle Lim's place and we won some cash too so our trip is sort of sponsored by Uncle Lim hehe!
